Why do famous people not have to pay for their crimes (such as OJ Simpson or Michael Jackson......etc.) Thanks

Let's face it Martha Stewart is the only famous person I can think of that went to jail. Shouldn't everyone have a fair trial regardless of their ability to pay for a good lawyer?
