Alligator in swim team pool?

HELP ME! I remember seeing on the news some time ago, a story about a coach who puts a baby alligator in the pool that his girls' swim team is in. The alligator swims after the girls and it makes them go faster. Can anyone provide a link to a video or written article on this? I told my boss about it and he doesn't believe me, and when I Googled it, nothing came up.
