Why wouldn't the car dealership return my call?

I did all the paperwork over the phone and they were supposed to call me back yesterday and let me know if i am approved for financing. They never called back!! i don't have good credit but I had a co-signer with remarkable credit!! are they just shitty service ppl or is it more?
