My teddy bear is happy now- thanks evryone?

i thought a hamster would be an easy choice - did not really have any idea it would take over my life - for 4 days i was going insane trying to make her happy. but $60 later my Ruby is in a bigger cage now with a wheel, and is very happy-im in the process of adding a shelf in there for extra climbing -age. she loves baby carrots and is up to one per day and ill keep giving them to her as long as it makes her happy. Although i cannot hold her yet because she is to wiggley- im still afraid ill smoosh her-she will eat out of my hand and lets me pet her now and not be afraid- she scared too easly at first now she scares me more than i do her!! haha. when i first got her i made her a house out of an pop tarts box- she wont let me take it out- she loves it- i think shes part ghetto because she likes the homemade stuff better than the store bought toys- ironic isnt it! Ruby says thank you all for schooling her owner! thanks again
