How to get rid of stretch marks?

I have a few stretch marks, I'm a skinny girl I just have them around certain areas.. I have a really curvy body. I bought some Palmer's Coco er stretch mark lotion.. I was wondering if this will really helps reduce the appearance of my stretch marks? How long does it take? If this doesn't work anything else that might? Anything would help. Thanks!
